ANJALI PATEL
Registered Physiotherapist, BPT
Orthopaedic Manual Therapist
Dry needling Provider
Welcome! I’m a Registered Physiotherapist with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario, passionate about helping people move better, feel stronger, and recover safely. My clinical path began in India, where I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy at CHARUSAT and treated complex neurological, musculoskeletal, pediatric, and motor vehicle collision cases in a fast-paced multi-specialty hospital and clinical settings.
To deepen my understanding of total body wellness, I later earned a Diploma in Fitness and Health Promotion from Georgian College, Barrie, expanding my skill set in injury management, personal training, nutrition, and fitness assessment. I believe learning never stops, which is why I’m ImPACT-Trained in Concussion Management and actively advancing my post-graduate training in manual therapy with ORTHODIV. My practice features a strong focus on Dry needling, Vestibular rehabilitation, TMJ disorders, and Osteoporosis management allowing me to offer targeted solutions for complex pain and movement goals.
Recovery is a personal journey, and I believe my role is to walk alongside you every step of the way. Rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach, I work closely with you to understand your unique needs. Together, we’ll combine gentle manual therapy, manageable home exercises, and clear education so you feel supported, confident, and empowered in your healing.
When I’m not in the clinic, you’ll usually find me in the kitchen trying out new recipes for my lovely husband, spending time with close friends, or getting out to explore and connect with our wonderful Barrie community. I look forward to working with you!
Whether you’re looking for in-home physical therapy appointments or a virtual visit, I can meet you where you are to support you in whatever way you need.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
No. In Ontario, you can generally see a physiotherapist directly without a doctor's referral. However, some insurance providers may require a referral or prescription for reimbursement. We recommend checking your individual insurance plan before your appointment.
-
You don't need much! Wear comfortable clothing that allows easy movement and have any relevant medical reports, imaging results, or medication information available if applicable. We recommend having a clear, comfortable space where your physiotherapist can assess your movement and perform exercises. Your physiotherapist will bring the necessary equipment for your session.
-
Many extended health insurance plans provide coverage for physiotherapy, including in-home physiotherapy in some cases. Coverage varies between insurance providers and plans. We recommend checking your benefits before your appointment, and we can provide the necessary receipt/documentation for you to submit to your insurer.
-
At this time, we do not offer direct billing to insurance companies. Following your appointment, you will receive a detailed receipt that you can submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement according to your individual coverage.
